Even though TCAP is over with, the learning and great instruction will continue. We still have curriculum to cover and goals to meet for the remainder of the year. Education, learning, and instruction are expected from EVERYONE (students, teachers, staff, and administration) at Center High School for the rest of the school year. Let’s keep up all the great work we have done for the previous 29 weeks of school. Our core values will be implemented for the entire school year!
It takes 35 people to run a track meet and I truly appreciate everyone and their help during the Center Invitational Track meet on March 22nd. I am sure that many of you would have liked to stay warm and out of the wind on this particular day. Thanks for all your hard work! I would especially like to thank Dennis Schoenfelder, Chris Vance, Dave Furukawa, and Dale Beiriger for the extra time they put in to make this event run so smoothly. They put in many extra hours that no one really knows about. Thank you guys for your dedication to Center High School. I received many emails complimenting what a great meet it was, this is all due to everyone contributing their time and efforts for Center High School.
Here we are back to business again! I hope you all had a great and relaxing Spring Break. I know I sure had a good one, spent with my family and enjoying the sunshine.

The week ahead-
Wednesday begins with an early morning 7:00 BLT meeting. I will spend the part of the morning reviewing lesson plans before I head to Alamosa for our monthly athletic directors meeting. Wednesday afternoon I will be conducting walk throughs. Thursday I plan on getting into some classrooms for observations and completing some paper work before attending the calendar committee meeting at 4:00. Friday I will attend a presentation for “Southwest Conservation Corporation” at 11:00 for grades 7-12. I am also planning on getting into classrooms to ensure good instruction is happening.
Thank you for reading!
