There are many positive things happening around Center High School lately. There
are some students that go above and beyond what is expected of them. It is great to honor these students and give them the recognition they deserve. Marco Ledezma received a “Good Conduct Award” from Mrs. Ruggles for his efforts in Senior Seminar class. He has worked extremely hard to not only keep up with this class, but go beyond expectations as well.

Center RTI process-
Center High School has had some unique situations arise this week. Susan Banning and Adele Alfson have worked extra hours to make arrangements and accommodations for some incoming students. It is
always a great feeling to walk out of meetings with parents and know that our staff is going to do whatever is possible to help their child succeed. A large part of this progression is due to Susan and Adele.
This past week-
Monday I spent a great deal of time preparing for incoming students to the district. I listened to Joe Garcia speak at the Boettcher luncheon. Tuesday I facilitated the BLT in Alamosa and I looked as some lesson plans, that evening I traveled to Westcliffe for our district volleyball games. Wednesday I set up and attended a couple of meetings to improves our ZAP/behavior process, conducted a couple of walk thorughs, and had more meeting with the RTI process. Thursday, I was able to get into a couple of classes, called a couple of parents and Mrs. Zimmerman and I planned next week’s PLC. Friday, I observed two classes, worked on some letter of recommendations
and worked with Mr. Welsh trying to figure out the Bloomboard process. That evening I attended our last football game of the 2012 school year.
